Week 4: Setting Up and Storyboarding

This week I didn't spend as much time working on my project as I would have liked. However I did decide that I should narrow the scope my project greatly especially after my last critique. Originally I thought I'd do half of the song and now I'm think maybe only a single verse or two at the most.

 I started storyboarding rough sketches to give myself an idea of what I would be animating. I didn't finish storyboarding though. I was hoping to redo my messy sketches in Photoshop for my presentation, but didn't get to it.

 

I took a break from storyboarding and decided to start getting my scene ready. The first thing I did was edit the Kayla rig

After I did that I started setting up my scene and put the Kayla rig into her first pose. This week I intend to start animating although I'm unsure how I should go about posing the twirling hug. I've never animated characters interacting with each other especially not in such a dynamic way.
